may be TMI but i am 90% sure i have irritable bowel syndrome & idk what to do😭 recently i’ve been so busy i haven’t been eating the healthiest & it’s triggering it. i’m in so much pain💩

I had post infectious IBS not too long ago, it was miserable. I would suggest seeing your doctor they might refer you to a GI specialist for more testing. It's best to avoid carbonation, too much sugar, high fats food or fast food, and too much fiber. It's hard trying to manage because it's a guessing game at times when it comes to food that will upset your stomach. There's medication they can prescribe to you I was given xifaxan and you take it for 2 weeks and it helps with symptoms for 6 months. I would ask your doctor if they can prescribe you something to help too!!

I have ibs and it’s awful. Literally anything that is a starch really gets to me. I’ve learned that carrying tums and peptobismol (or however it’s spelt) with me really helps on days that I know I’m going to be busy and won’t eat the healthiest.

@kelliechrismer, that’s my problem idek what triggers it! i just know i’ve been eating so terribly and it’s been acting up every single night for like the past week

@kartersmommyy that's the worst feeling knowing that there's always a chance your stomach will act up! I would ask about xifaxan it worked WONDERS for me!
