Looking for some advice I’m pregnant 33 weeks and 2 days . I’m currently working and I don’t get maternity leave since I’m on call . When she I stop working ??.. I’m currently work 35-45 hours a week and trying to get by since I’ll be out of work for a little while.. I’m told I’m doing a lot but I’m trying to do it while I can .

I had the same situation, I actually worked up until the day I gave birth. July 21 I was working July 22 I had my baby !

Can you cut your hours down to part time? That could be the best of both worlds. If you’re feeling fine and you need the money, nothing wrong with trying to work right up to your due date, but if all possible a week or two before is good to mentally get in the zone. I’m personally planning on taking off at 36 this time (last time 38 and I was induced at 39). I want more one on one time with my first born and I’ve been having a rough time. Sometimes I’m not sure I can make it to 36.

I worked until my water randomly broke with my first (38 wks) & I got induced with my 2nd so I stopped a couple days shy of 39 wks.
