Have any of you ladies gotten a 3d or 4d ultrasound before the 28 week mark?? Like around 20 weeks…

@angikay, Aww that sucks😕 I had it done because he was being difficult during the scan and she couldn’t check for a cleft palate so she switched to 3D to check! I had another done on Thursday at 28 weeks! I was shocked at how much you can actually see at 20 weeks🤭

Can i see the one from 28 weeks ? I'm curious how much the features changes ??

@kathleenc yeah she said babies look like skeletons this early.. until u hit the 28 week mark !!

I just looked, and the 3D/4d elective place I went to starts at 26 weeks. I was reading, and it’s recommended the best time to go between 30-32 weeks. I went at 30 weeks, 6 days.

This was our sweet JJ at 19+5. We went early because he had too much fluid and they didn’t think they’d be able to see him if we waited much longer.

@kathleenc, He was very cooperative ❤️ At 4 he still sleeps like that.

I got 3d at 10 weeks, my OB did it automatically without me even asking. They are formed pretty well by then.

Then the top upper left was 20 weeks..

She had her hands in her face the entire time though. Lol looked the same as 10 weeks to me, just bigger

@adalynnsmommyy that's a really good 2d pic. I can see facial features clearly. I love seeing babies on ultrasound, I'm just so curious what my baby girl looks like that I don't want to wait until 28 weeks lol

@angikay I was gonna go have one done of her next week for my last ultrasound but i think i want to just wait and see her when she is here. I know she has alot of hair because I had to have an emergency ultrasound Friday

@adalynnsmommyy you seen her hair on ultrasound?? Omg.. babies with lots of hair are the cutest !! I hope mine has alot of hair !!

@angikay mine has went super fast it seems like. But i have so many appointments its crazy. So i guess that could be why. Ive had 2 a week since 12 weeks. And now i have 3 a week

@adalynnsmommyy yep that would be why!! I had weekly appointments up until last month. This is the only time I've had to go a whole month without seeing baby girl. It's killing me over here !! I'm dying to see her. I go back the 13th .

@angikay diabetes, carrier for cystic fibrosis, bones shifting early, heavy contractions early.

@adalynnsmommyy oh wow, you've had it rough.. I'm glad it's almost over for you, I'm sure it's been worrisome the way through! I had alot of bleeding in the beginning.. from 6 weeks to almost 12 weeks before it finally stopped! Issues with placenta. But I feel less stressed now that I've made it past that, and this far.

@angikay i had a miscarriage last year and i was actually due september 30th. Now this year I'm due the 27th

@adalynnsmommyy that's crazy. I had a miscarriage last late August at 11 weeks gestation. This one is due in January. Yours is super close. Sorry to hear about your loss hun, how far along were u?

@angikay i was 6 weeks. I went to the hospital but they didn't even tell me i was on the verge of having a miscarriage

@adalynnsmommyy oh wow!! You'd think they would be on top of it. Sorry to hear about that ! My doctor at the time told.me it was just bad luck for me. Like what !! It's not bad luck, everything happens for a reason... ya know ?
