@karla22 I think getting him after we had our son has been easier, he has came to our family with a child already there first rather than him being here and then a baby being brought into the picture which i think can sometimes be hard for dogs, I just hope he's as chilled with a new baby coming along.... I'm sure he will though coz he has been fine with my niece when ever she has came to visit and she is 10 months now so we should be ok 🤞it's nice when they just want to cuddle in or lie next to the kids 😍 xx
@alanna91 that's really good! I have heard they are good with children. We have a 7 year old jack russell and had him from 8 weeks too. He was like 3 when we had our daughter and when she was a baby and younger he would be so loving towards her and would sit next to her etc but now she's nearly 4 he can get a bit protective of his toys etc and growls at her from a distance randomly 🤔 but then he is all lovey dovey and sits by her, lies next to her if shes playing and wants to play fetch. We are going to wait and see what he is like when the new baby arrives 😐 xx
@karla22 yeah he's great, infact he does well to put up with my son at times 🙈 we've had him since he was 8 weeks and the family we got him from had young kids iin it so he's always been around young children, he just loves to cuddle in most of the time, my son gets a bit wild with him at times and will lift him up and he will growl a little to let him know hes noy happy but I just tell my son that if the dog does that its because he's hurting him. He's such a great dog so gentle and friendly x
