Why was I told BP 108/60 was a little high? Isn't that technically on the low end??

Yea it’s on the low end earlier they checked me and mine was 109/52

@rebelprincesz24 it was the main nurse for my OB who said it... I was recommended to ask for someone else. The next appointment I am going to see a different OB because mine normal one is out so it will be all different people and I will see if I can switch or atleast habe a different nurse checking my vitals.

I went to school for medical assisting and graduated and everything I know, and was taught that is low, not high. I wouldn't worry. But always get a 2ec opinion if ur gut is saying hey...hoped I could help.

@lauranbobby12 I'm not too worried about the blood pressure being bad but more that I was given false information and I'm not sure if she just read the numbers wrong or what. But now I'm slightly worried about being given more false information even if just due to carelessness.

The only thing that I can think is she meant to say a little low, OR it’s a little high for you personally? Or in her head she flipped the numbers?

@amysbabies she had asked me how my bp had been and I said perfectly fine because that's what I had been told every time and then said it was high. Idk I'm going to ask the other nurse and OB some questions like if I can see my past results or atleast be told them etc. I just don't like that fact I could have been given false information and that could happen again.

@alice-quinnsmommy, I agree -that’s really weird!!! It’s something basic that everyone in healthcare should know like the back of their hands. Now you have me wondering about mine! Every appointment I hear- blood pressure is great, but last appointment nothing was said and I didn’t think to ask. I’m assuming it was good.
