This may be a little early, exactly 30wks but I want to make sure im completely prepared. For your and SO's hospital…

I have newborn and 0-3 months in my bag ! And U Don’t really need diapers I got like 1 in there lol

My daughter was 8 lbs 6 oz and still wore newborn diapers and clothes. They also give you all the diapers and wipes you need. Baby won’t wear size 2 diapers for awhile :).

You won't need diapers or wipes the hospital will supply those. My daughter was 8.4 when she was born and also wore new born clothes and diapers as well. Unless the dr is worried about a big baby newborn clothes should be good.

@alice-quinnsmommy, I have a small toiletry bag, with travel sized items- like if I was going on a weekend trip- Including tweezers and a razor- not to look nice, but I remember having some annoying hair I just couldn’t stand last time. I didn’t pack our bag yet, just babies and the toiletry, but I’ll include a few pairs of comfy stretchy pants, a few tank tops with the soft built in bra, a sweater that zips or two, lots of socks, an oversized night gown, cell phone charger and nipple cream (lanolin). For husband, I’ll include just enough clothes for the next day- if we stay longer he will be going home because we have a toddler and I don’t want her with anyone else for too long. Last time we ended up staying a week and I did not feel prepared. I might pack an extra bag just in case, to keep in the trunk, so husband can bring it in if we have a long stay (hopefully not!!!)- after birth only certain things feel comfortable and it’s hard explaining which items to your husband when you are in pain and you are both overtired.

I also throw it all in a small wheeling suit case. It’s easier!!!

In his diapers bag I just packed him 2 gowns and then 2 newborn onesies and 2 0-3 onesies and a blanket. The hospital should provide everything from what I’ve been told.

For myself I have toiletries, nipple pads and cream, cotton panties, nursing bra, loose dress to wear home, pjs/gown for the hospital and fuzzy socks. My husband just packed some boxers and 2 outfits and his toiletries. Some things they recommended bringing in our hospital class is extension chord for phone chargers, tennis ball to have your SO run your back with, blanket and pillows since hospital ones usually suck and hard candy to suck on during labor when you can’t eat.

@alice-quinnsmommy I have a lot of the same stuff as the other ladies. I just bought a bag that already had lotion, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrush, a brush in it. Also I have 2 pairs of pj bottoms and tops. It's either really hot or really cold at the hospital. I have socks and flip flops to wear around. The baby book, underwear, some nursing bras and tops and pads. An outfit to wear home and snacks lol. The last minute I'll pack my phone charger. My husband is on his own to pack what he wants lol. For the baby I had 2 pairs of pjs, a coming home outfit and and a regular outfit my daughter picked. Then a mini boppy so I can hold her easily when I feed her.
