TMI WARNING: so I'm totally confused had sex 8/10 took a plan be pill 12 hours later(I also have an iud). But I started spotting brown blood afterwards that had clots thought it was my period but it went away after a few hours I had sore boobs and cramps. Usually I have cramps a few days before my period I think I've had sore boobs once in my life before a period. But fast forward to this Monday 8/27 took an ept which was negative. I'm due on 9/4 but on Friday I started what I think was my period. It is bright red and has more clots than usual I also had no cramps and I fill up pads within 2 hours. But I felt my cervix it is usually low during my period but it is high hard and open. What could be going on? #myfirstpost

The Plan B gives you a bunch of hormones, plus with you being on the IUD, it’s just a lot of hormones going on.

Well, with the double whammy of Plan B and IUD you are damn near 99% not pregnant. What I think the issue is is the Plan B is a tremendous dose of hormone (its basically a 3-4 birth control pills) so I imagine it's just pretty wacky hormonal fluctuations that is causing the uterine bleeding. And don't be surprised if it messes with you again next month. Plan B can mess you up.

Yeah, some have said it took them 3 months to regulate after, but I’ve never taken Plan B so I don’t personally know for sure.
