Why is it that grandparents don't listen to what you tell them to do with your kids? I am getting so sick of having told my husband parents the same things over and over again. His mother doesn't listen and does what she wants, and then if I stop letting them get him I will be the bad guy. Just follow directions it's not that hard. He's my child and I know what's best that's why I am his mom. Smh ready to snap.

Maybe you just sit down and talk to them the way we talk to our kids. These are the things that I don't want done with my child. If you do them you will be choosing to no longer see them because of your choice to disregard what their parents feel is safe and acceptable for them. I hope that you will make the choice to follow these suggestions. If you chose to disregard them you will be making the choice to not see them until you can agree to follow our guidelines in the future. I'm confident that you can make the right choice in the future.... Then if they don't follow those rules you just say "it is unfortunate that you chose to no longer see the kids for a few weeks but I'm confident that you can make a better choice in the future and we can try again.

@bitchcraft, that's what I am thinking because it doesn't make any sense why a simple request cannot be met. I have been telling them for years that need to be used on his skin due to his eczema and I even send the stuff with Him and doesn't get used, they use other stuff and when his skin is bad and flare up I have to deal with that. I have to make doctors appointments, get up in the middle of the night, buy extra treatments etc. That's only a little bit of how they refuse to accept my wishes.
