Depends on your doctor. I am getting my first check at 40 weeks on Thursday. We don't do checks noting research shows there is really no need unless you have issues your reporting.
@mommynmotion oh definitely not. We will talk about it Thursday as well but induction isn't done until I hit 41 weeks. There is no need until 41 before you hit 42 weeks (placenta stops working between 42 and 43 weeks).
39 weeks is full term so it makes sense to not be induced before that to begin with. :)

They just don’t at mine. I’m sure they would if there was a real reason, but it’s really not necessary.

I think my dr is checking at my next at 36. He warned me it’s going to be an internal exam. I know for sure he’s doing the strep B swab.
