No matter how many times i burp my baby he throws up 😩 hes been extra fussy today

@taylorsmommy1017, Its fine girl , hes on the enfamil gentlease hes eating 3oz mostly all the time ,he will burp and throw up will come right behind it

It’s possible that you may be patting his back too hard? I had the same issue when my son was a newborn. He also had reflux though but when I googled it I read through a couple possibilities of spitting up every time after eating/being burped and patting too hard was surprisingly one of them. So I would just rub his back in a circular motion to move around the gas bubbles and lightly tap which helped!

Like Taylor said, burping in between ounces is also a great idea! We had to do that as well

@dazzlingmommy, most of the time is hard to get him to burp but when he does burp he still throws up i have tried burping in between

That’s acid reflex. Don’t burp him too much once he’s done eating sit him propped up a bit and then burp him twice if most.

What kind of bottles are you using? Sometimes it can be the bottle letting out too many air bubbles when the baby drinks it.
