I'm going to assume I can't really ever have enough wipes? I mean you can use them for more than just wiping butts lol now I'm stressed with how many of what size diapers I should get, I want to just keep stocking but I dont want to be over stocked ugh. a mom told me to tape my receipts to the boxes (great call whomever that was) just stressful since babies are born at different sizes and grow at different rates and im just so lost on where my focus should be. So far I only have 80 newborns(not concerned about newborn diapers really and the 80 I have was from my mum lol) probably 300 size 1s and 116 size 2s like I hear they are usually in size 3 the longest yes? I just don't know what's an okay number to be at with them and then buy from there as I need and its stressful lol God do I love buying the little things though! Makes me feel good to be prepared for later♡

My son just got out of newborn diapers and the size one he seems to go threw less of.. so maybe just depends on baby

I did the math from a general mommy guide for estimates
Diapers:
✔1 box of newborn plus about 1.5 pack from friend opened
(Half of what i need) 4 boxes size 1
✔ 4 boxes size 2 and 1 pack
(Will need quite a bit more of 3 & 4 but not until 1 year old plus so waiting on those).
2 boxes size 3
1 pack size 4

@joyfulmom2b I know! Lol newborns I'm afraid to buy cause I've heard alot of women say they didnt last long at all in them! Maybe I'll just get around 300 diapers of each size besides newborns and go from there as I need just so I have something to start with.. I cant stop buying 😅

@kendrab yeah we have a box of 88 newborn...i didn't want to get more than that since we also have probably about 30-40 that were given to us from friends, so hoping it's enough but if not we will buy a little at a time with those.
Stocking up on the others saved a ton of money for us though. 16 cents a diaper regularly and I got them down to 6-8 cents a diaper! :)

@kendrab, I can imagine specially if u have a 8lbs+ baby or even 7.. then depends on babies growth.
My little guy was 6lbs 9ounces and dropped weight to 5Lbs 12ounces after getting out of hospital.. he stayed in newborns for awhile and definitely went through a lot. But I’d stick with ur 300 plan

It depends on how your baby grows .my daughter could fit a two at 3m but then her thighs got chunky so she’s been in size 3 since and she’s almost 6m now . She was born at 7lbs was in newborn for a week or two .

Diapers are super easy to pick up or have delivered. I think it’s good to have 1 giant box of newborn and 2 giant boxes of size 1, but beyond that it’s not necessary, unless there’s a crazy good deal! I have a few really good coupons and might pick up a few more boxes, but only because they expire before my due date :).
