Why can't you video record during birth? Only still photos allowed?

it must depend on where you are.

at my hospital video is allowed. & during a c section the anesthesiologist actually will use your phone or camera and snap photos and video.

My aunt accidentally videoed my first birth but I accidentally erased it. I have a super short video right after I had her which is sweet

I was told I can record/ take pictures.. just not record stuff like epidural, iV placement medical procedures.. but birth I could and did :)

Depends on your hospital rules. I believe most allow it.

@kalidream, unfortunately not because the insurance enrollment for me job is done in October. So I had to get Medicaid. The babe is due in February and I feel like switching doctors or hospitals that late would just be doing to much. My mom said she’ll try her best to record what she can. I don’t even want to think what my man is going to do if they tell him he can’t 😂😂😂
