Went to my workplace today because I'm STILL waiting for my maternity pay to come through. I've been forced into this absolutely dire financial situation. I've had to borrow hundreds of pounds (luckily I have a trusting family), I've had to cancel direct debits, I've occurred bank charges. It's been a nightmare. So today I put my point across about how bad of a situation I'm in because of them delaying my payment. They asked what I needed to get me through and bought me some baby formula. They've told me my bank charges will be paid for and with a bit of luck I'll get paid on Monday. If by then I need anything else all I have to do is call in and they'll provide me with it. I dunno whether to be angry or greatful 🙈
