So this morning at around 5:30 Josiah gave me a huge scare! I was sleeping sooo good but something was telling me to wake up and go check on him, so I got up went to his room and he wasn’t in his bed.. so I run to my room and ask my husband where’s Josiah and he says idk he should be in bed asleep, by this time me and him are freaking out... I run to check all the other rooms and he’s not there, my husband went downstairs and Josiah was setting in the kitchen floor eating fruit loops 🤦🏻♀️ my husband forgot to close the baby gate at the top of the steps last night... so then a million other thoughts start flooding my brain like what if he fell down the stairs or what if he would’ve drank the cleaning stuff under the sink, I felt like the worst mom in that moment... Josiah has never done anything like this before.. but I guess there’s a first time for everything though 🤷🏻♀️

Aww momma...Scary but a good way to make changes so nothing bad happens. Glad he’s ok and good thing you decided to check on him 🙂

It happens to everyone at one point! My fiance didn't realize that our son had opened the back door and gone outside...I only realized it when the boy came to see what I was doing out front (yard work) 🤦♀️ But now that we know he can open the door, we make sure to use the lock that the boy can't reach instead of the lower one.

I would have been scared too! I can’t tell you how many times tho I would walk into my aunts house super early while she was still asleep or getting up for work (I babysat a lot for her) and my 2 yo cousin would be just chillin in the kitchen eating snacks 😂😂

@mama.kay, I freaked lol but he was perfectly fine! Guess he got hungry 🤷🏻♀️ we usually close the gate at the top of the stairs and my husband forgot 🤦🏻♀️
