I’m not dilating at all. So I have a couple questions to ask;
1. Is it normal to still be completely closed up?
2. He stopped moving as much, should I be concerned?
3. Can you dilate all the way in one day time (just curious)
4. Does anyone else feel a sort of burning pain shoot through their crouch from time to time? What could it be?
I’m sorry I’m a first time mom and I’m so curious about everything. My doctors are very vague on any kind of information.
@naniibear, alright that’s it. I’m about to change your name to nana 😂 has your SO tried rubbing where it hurts?
@tanirani, I know nothing about yoga 😨 all I do is bounce on the exercise ball but never a full bounce because I give up as soon as I bounce a couple times 😏😂
@tanirani, it’s mainly in my upper back 😒🙄 which is so weird, because I know it should hurt in my lower back... but for some reason there’s like a pulled muscle up there or something that just won’t let up!
@babybumplump23 @naniibear, yeah! This pain is intense sometimes! I also noticed prenatal yoga makes the pain a bit better at least for me.
@tanirani, @dinamarie1995, thank you guys! I never knew what the lightning crotch was. I read about it, but had no clue that I was experiencing it 😂 it makes sense now
Wow, I thought I was reading my own post lol. Same with me 🙄😖 but we’re almost there!
Hey! I’m at a simile stage 38.5 weeks, closed up, no dilation, Doctor was not concerned. I also get pain it’s on and off. It’s normal to dilate just before giving birth at least what I read. I’m tracking movements as much as I can that’s what my doctor recommended
I was dilated to a 3 at 38wks and still had to wind up being induced when I hit 41wks. And then labor was 48hrs! Dilation doesn’t mean much until active labor
