Here in Sacramento area I was looking and it’s almost 600 for half day 2 days a week and almost 1200 for a week! It’s outrageous! I am still undecided if it’s worth me going back to work since my husbands grandparents can’t watch my kids anymore 😞

I was thinking the same thing ! We are currently searching for a child care provider and comparing prices. I think everyone should qualify for childcare benefits no matter how much you make .....some of my relatives get title 20 and pay next to NOTHING for childcare and then go on to have more children. I’m jealous lol 😂 —- I’m getting ready to have one and can’t imagine having another right away because at a certain price point you have to determine if working is worth it . my grandmother was going to watch the baby but now that we are closer we found out that she can’t due to health concerns so we hadn’t considered these prices . Oh well .. we will figure it out 🤞🏽😅

I’m fortunate to have my mom who works from home and my dad who is retired to take care of my son until he can go to school and they will be teaching him his colors and his name and everything else he needs to know before he get to attend school

We were paying $200 a week for one child, to go only 3 days a week. Not including snacks or lunch. Needless to say we took him out. I’m going back to work part time weekends and they’ll stay with dad.

I work as a receptionist and I love it but my fiancé makes more doing what he does so we’re almost to a point where I’m going to have to get a night job instead just so one of us can always be home with the kids. We’re starting the kids in a new daycare in two weeks and I’m so nervous about us not being able to afford it on top of everything else. I just want what’s best for my babies even if it costs an arm and a leg 😩
