That’s great here in Canada it always been recommended rear facing till they’ve reached the height and weight requirement for the seat. So glad the AAP is updating this!!

My almost two year old is the size of a 9 month old by weight. A bit older for height. She would be nowhere near ready to forward face at 2!

In my state the law is 2 and there are people who don't even listen to it because their kid is "fine". Anyone who cares enough to follow this already knows this so unfortunately I don't think it'll make a difference.

@oh.hi, I’m hoping this triggers more pediatricians to follow suit with recommendations and more laws to change that way people who are on the fence will change their ways. There will always be those who are willfully negligent, but if it even saves one child’s life, it’s worth it.

I wish Australia would catch up, the legal requirements are rear facing to 6 months here 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have (2) graco milestone carseats (both RF)

The carseats have a level. It says the ball has to be on the blue line. But ever since we got a new car I cant get it to stay on the blue.

I mean I can get it to stay level and on the blue line before and after I get the girls in but once we get point B and I go get the girls out its back on red. I fix it and then it moves again.

I have to fix it every time I go out and honestly have no idea why or when it moves back to the red line

Btw. This did not happen on the older cars we had
