What are you mommies giving babies for constipation and or hard stools? I think I’ve been giving her…

A little prune juice mixed with water.

Try one ounce of prune juice mixed with an ounce of water. That’s what my pedi recommended for my son when he was severely constipated and had painful poops.

Yes! He pooped a few hours after. Don’t be surprised if she has a blowout. Depending on how backed up she is. What formula is she on? Or breastfeeding?

@hail, i just want her to feel better 😩 and yes she’s breastfed. I give her solids and I was giving her bananas these couple days so I’m assuming that’s what it is? 🤔😩

Bananas make me niece super constipated so that may be it. Try giving her something else and seeing if that fixes it. If so, bananas are your problem. Sadly constipation is normal in breastfed babies.

Full bottle of water, prunes, a small water/apple juice mix (that’s what we do with my 7mo lil sister)

Beachnut baby food makes prunes in stage 2.. works literally every time for us!

i give my daughter prune baby food from beachnut and it works wonders, also i give her 2 ounces of water everyday. Sometimes breastfed babies take a little longer to poo from what her doctor tells me( my daughter is also breastfeed)

@denisse.m, thank you! I tried the Apple juice and water and I even gave her some peaches and that helped her go! 🙏 I just noticed our LOs have the same bday 😭💘

@mama.kay, I have yet to try the prunes! I don’t even think I saw prunes in baby food section at my local market 🤔 but I did try the juice and water and a bit of peaches and that helped her go! Thank you!
