I work in a small office with 4 other women so it was a little easier for me. With my second I would pump right at my desk. This time I pump in our kitchen and just let everyone know I'm in there before I start.
I think if your company has at-least 50 employees , they have to provide a pumping area for moms. Other than that maybe ask your manager or HR department a good area to use . Thankfully , I have my own office so HR is going to add some blinds to my windows so I can have privacy during that time.
@jleona, thanks I’m trying to figure this out during my pregnancy I was doing real estate but after the baby I’m going to go back to waiting tables at restaurants so I’m trying to figure out if I get engorged where can I go because I know the wait staff never have a luxurious break area it’s usually so corner in the kitchen area lol and I don’t want to pump in the bathroom so I’m thinking if I go to a restaurant that’s not in Manhattan then maybe I’ll ask for a 15 minute break and pump in my car but if I’m in Manhattan there’s no parking so I won’t take my car which would leave me with no back up plan for pumping

In my state, they have to provide you privacy. My MIL has an employee who goes in the break room and no one is allowed in there while she’s in there
