I was told after labor that if I were to get pregnant again I would have to have a C-section, regular labor terrified me.. what are your experiences with C-sections? My fiance wants more but I'm terrified of surgery and my labor was bad enough.
@aileen_west I got the epidural super early. They even gave me pitocin, broke my water, used the vacuume twice and the forceps, but the forceps wouldn't fit. I pushed for 2 and a half hours and he came out not breathing cause the cord was wrapped around his neck.
@mama.kay lmao. I'm still healing so I'm not even close to thinking I want more. He has scabs on his head still from labor and I still wince when I look at them cause that hurt bad and I'm sure didn't feel good for him either..
It was bad, like they suck don’t get me wrong. But it’s over pretty quickly, things heal and it’s sooo worth it. I had theeee worst pregnancy/birth and I already wanna do it again 😅🤣
@bluepenguin my boy was only 7 pounds 4 ounces at birth. Just a little guy😍
I had 2 c sections.
I never got the chance to actually push a baby out but I feel like I’d rather have a c section. Like obviously any kind of surgery sucks and the healing process takes more time but my overall experience wasn’t horrible. My babies were healthy and so was I and that’s all that mattered in the end.
@mariahlynncarr0628 oh i definitely understand I was just curious as to why they would immediately recommend it. Everyone's body is different, my first was 8lbs 11oz so I'm kinda worried how big this one will be 😅😅
@bluepenguin my son was horribly stuck and it took alot of tools to get him out safely. She said if he was an ounce bigger he wouldn't have come out and would have had an emergency C-section. Since second babies are usually bigger she fears it would be a rough labor again. Now, I'm not trying to get pregnant anytime soon. But if it were to happen and if my only option was a C-section.. I'd like to be a little educated.
How come they said you'd need to have a c-section ?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
