I took the baby to the Dr today and they told me he's jaundice. So we went to get blood work. They took 3 vials of blood from my tiny 5 lb baby!! It hurt my heart when he screamed. He has to go back tomorrow and they are going to draw more blood! Then his Dr said that he may need it done every other day to make sure the numbers drop. I'm sad. If it's not one thing it's another. My incision is also so damn sore. It's worse pain than when I had Alisa. It's not infected though. But bc of where he was at when delivered my uterus is bruised.. 😖
Smh. Can't we just get a break for at least a week!

Aww man poor little guy! I don’t know if this will help but sometimes we get so overwhelmed with everyday life that we just take all the good for granted and all we can see is the bad and how much life sucks. Take a second to look at his beautiful little face, his ten tiny adorable toes and ten perfect little fingers. It’ll be ok babe. ❤️
Now the incision, bunch of damn liars who say it’s easier the second time 😂

@mommynes thank you. It does help. He is pretty perfect. It does seem like bad after bad is happening though. This is my third C-section and your right absolute liars! It's the worse right now. Ashlynn was the easiest to recover from, but I had help. I have help now but only after 430 when dh gets home from work. The girls know I can't move well so they are just happily messing the house up and running away from me. Alisa got so mad bc I told her to leave her sister alone she pushed me right in the incision. It took alot to not cry in front of her and tell her to get to the wall! I don't spank but damn I wanted to at that moment. 😂 The will power I had was strong! Lol.

@mojobebe I'm trying so hard. I feel so sad for him. Alisa was jaundice too but she was in the hospital for a month and had the phototherapy to help her. When I had him we were going to have him the following day bc of the liver issues I had and I feel like I passed it on to him. The Dr said that wasn't the reason at all and that it is common but that feeling is still in my mind.

@chantilly-lacebb, you are being too hard on yourself! It’s so easy to feel guilty but you are doing the best you can and the doctor said it had nothing to do with you. Baby will need you to be happy! He will get better.

My first had to go back to the hospital every day for a week after being discharged for the same reason. While we were in the hospital she also had to have blood taken every three hours because she was a preemie. I feel your pain, his poor little heels :(

@oh.hi they used an IV type needle on his arm. I thought it was only heel but bc they needed to do 5 tests today they had to do that to get enough. My second DD had to get alot of tests but they were able to break them up bc her bilirubin was normal. So we we're able to do her tests in 4 days. They broke them up bc she was only 6lbs at the time of tests. He's considered preemie by one day. He lost 6oz but they said that was normal. He's exactly 5 lbs. and they took it all at once. I know he is in good hands and they wouldn't do it if he could get really hurt but still so sad to see his face. He looked at me like why are you letting them do this to me?!
