Does anyone just wanna give up on using doctors for TTC purposes and just let nature take its course? I feel like it’s causing to much stress and tension in my marriage. All the money, doctors appointments etc. I think if this round of clomid doesn’t work for us, I’m going to try natural remedies and weight loss.
I agree with @beakymcspence, it took us 11 cycles (with break in between due to an ectopic pregnancy) on 150mg of Clomid to finally get pregnant with our 6yr old daughter. All in all it took us almost 5 years of TTC. I totally understand how you feel because we felt the same way, but it was all worth it. Good luck! Stay positive
Two rounds isn’t much time to make it work it’s magic! But totally understandable. It is possible to take a break from OPKs and planned sex and just relax a month?
@journeytobaby, Why give up after only two rounds hun? It took us 6 cycles of 150 mg to conceive our twins which we lost Father’s Day and this is our 7th cycle so fingers crossed it’s a sticky bean 🤞🏻 Not everyone gets pregnant on Clomid the first or second cycle. I understand taking a break we’ve done it but try to keep positive about the Clomid 🙂 It can take 5 cycles to be successful. Our youngest is 4.5 so it’s been a long time of us trying too with many breaks that’s for sure.
@beakymcspence, I’m on my second round of 100mg. We have been TTC for nearly 3 years though
@journeytobaby, is it possible that you’re resistant to clomid? I tried it and it didn’t work for me. There are other options. I was able to conceive my little boy on femara in 2016. I understand taking a break but sometimes nature just needs a little boost.
