So we covered a lot of grounds at mauriz’s appointment today.. his doctor put in referrals for speech therapy and OT and she’s also going to email me a list of preschools that work with special needs kids since he has autism, and then she’s going to look into this program called DAN (defeat autism now) and see if he qualifies for it.. hopefully we can get things rolling now cause the behavioral specialist he saw was no help at all 😑 his doctor says he needs to be in some type of schooling or program so he can start getting the help he needs and she was pretty annoyed that the doctor at the behavioral specialist was of no help to us... just glad we got something out of todays visit because I’ve been trying to get him in somewhere for a really long time! 👎🏻
