I definitely used to be this way until I seen the bond between my baby and her dad. She loves him dearly. I could never come between that. So I'm sacrificing my emotions and happiness to keep that bond until she is old enough to visit her daddy I will be there to help.
@matajiregina, I could never because I don’t want her to think or learn that’s how to live. They can feel your emotions so much it’s insane. Even at 3yrs old my daughter can tell when I’m upset or angry.
I’d never not allow my husband to see his kids if something happened between us. The only way I would is if he was a danger to them.
I hope this doesn’t come off as judging you or anything. You ultimately know what’s best for you and your girl. It’s just my worst fear is not showing my daughter how a loved woman should be treated in a relationship, because I had to learn that stuff the hard way.
Also there’s a difference between men being men and being unhappy because of the situation. My husband definitely does some “man” things that irk me but ultimately I’m happy with my relationship.
