This time, next week, I'm going to have 3 kids. By myself. No help. I can barely handle the 2 i already have. I have no patience, I'm constantly repeating myself, I don't have time to sit, my toddler gets into EVERYTHING, and my 6 year old finds the need to say "mom" just to say it (when I say, "what" it's always, "I forgot" or "nevermind"). This causes my anxiety to go above 'normal' and I hate it. I'm constantly yelling and apologizing. I'm losing my mind.
I'm having my c-section on Wednesday and I'll be in the hospital until Saturday. My husband and I own our own lawn/landscape business and we don't take Holidays. So he is working Labor day Monday. All the family will be on vacation. If our employees didn't take advantage of being on their own, my husband could stay with me longer... But nope! They can't be trusted 😣
Sounds like a lot ..take a deep breath ..is your 6 yr old in school yet? What about activities..play time, color, arts and crafts .or running at park .I will say all my 3 son's were energetic but, My last son wow energy like I have never seen he can run in the park open field for 1-2 hrs and still have energy to play..I find after a long bath helps him nap and sleep at night we'll...my mom had 3 kids very close in age I see why she was nusto hahaha...I waited many yrs in between my children's ages...Wish you the best.. ps I watched soldier movies played army guys colored on the floor sometimes you have to shut the tv and let them play
@mamabear918 because my anxiety was never this bad. Therefore handling 2, at the time of wanting another, wasn't nearly as bad as it is now.
Sorry for stating the obvious but.... if you knew you couldn't handle the two you already had and didn't have any patience for then already then why would you have another kid?
@k.i.k.i I live an hour away from family.
@currentlybaking @penelope127 he starts school that Tuesday, but my husband doesn't get home from work until 8p or later so yea, I have a few hours, when he is at school, where it'll be just 2 kids... But after school there's still no help.
Is there friends the 6 year old can stay at? Maybe a day camp if he’s not in school yet?
Does your 6 yr old start school soon? Hopefully that will help soon. Try not to stress so much you’ll figure it out somehow, moms always do!
@sherrynygirl they don't watch TV... the only time my 6 year old does is if I decide to nap with my toddler. Other than that, we do learning games, play with cars, color, paint, do play dough, help prepare dinner... etc. But lately I have seemed to get severe OCD with cleaning. The second something is out of place, i lose it. I'm sure it's probably just the extra hormones, but idk. And of course with me having a new doctor this time around, I hoping he takes my symptoms seriously and puts me on stronger medication or finds something else to help me.
