I love shrimp and I tried to eat it for the first time last week since being pregnant and I couldn't take the smell plus when I ate it my stomach started to hurt😩😩 but you can eat shrimp just make sure your seafood intake is more than 12 ounces per week
Actually the mercury content in shellfish is way better than say tuna or halibut (big fish) has to do with the biomolecular food chain and how mercury breaks down I would avoid big fish if possible but once in awhile is fine (mercury poisoning common in women who eat two cans or more of tuna a week) Like everything else, it's moderation!
