I need to buy a bathroom sxale for my house just to calm my anxiety. Im so worried that my dd isnt gaining weight. She eats every few hours during the day but its like 10 minutes max at the breast and she'll stop, after i burp her i offer again and she wont take it but has no issues if i offer the pacifier. At night she wakes up once to eat and shell wake up again maybe 4 hours later but only want the paci. She does have atleast 6 soaking wet diapers throught the day but it still has me worried that shes not eating like she should.

She may just be really efficient at getting milk out. At a month my son dropped down to nursing for about 10-15 minutes at a time. If she has the proper amount of wet diapers and you're feeding her on demand I wouldn't be worried. But if you really want a scale, get an actual infant one. They're not very expensive and will be much more accurate than a bathroom scale.

@mokimbo she could be really effective my let down is pretty strong and she chugs it all down like a champ. And i know impumping isnt showing me what shes getting but some mornings she'll eat right away and then ill pump and 4oz comes out of the neglected side while only 1-2 comes out the side she ate from
