Is anyone’s else kids so bad when grandparents are around!? My daughters attitude is so bad when my mil is around and fine when she’s gone (she comes out to help with my husbands grandparents). We currently live with them to take care of them but she takes them to appts since I don’t have room in the car for 2 people. I’m loosing my mind. I think she sees how my mil is towards me and thinks it’s fine. What should i do. Anyone else experience this!? 😭😭😭

My son would act like a spoiled brat with my MIL and I couldn’t stand it. I’d complain to my hubby how she babies my son and I hate the way he acts. The hubby told me to leave them alone when she babies him and let her deal with him while he’s acting like a brat. It was hard at first to ignore my child when he was acting like that but I did and my MIL eventually got tired of having to deal with a bratty kid. My husband told her that my son only acts like that with her cause he knows he can get away with it. After some time, she finally stopped treating that way and my son now acts perfectly normal around her

@mommakuala, I wish it would work! I’ll try t again! I really think mine loves it because she knows it get under my skin and it last for a few days after she’s over.

@mommakuala, I also do believe my daughter has ADHD I had it as a child and I am seeing the same signs as I had and my siblings. Maybe it has so part in that but idk😐

Yes! And we started staying at my in laws last week preparing to move for work and she’s been AWFUL much.
