I had my LO at begining of year

But when I first fell pregnant I had pains and bleeding and was told I was miscarrying. I have been on contraception since the birth but was very sick last month which I know makes pill less effective. Since then I have bled through the entire of August, pains, cramps and initially clots, could it have been a MC? Also, can a doc confirm it? I did 2 negative tests ?
