When people with more than one kid tell me how excruciatingly painful birth is and how I’m going to see my life flashing before my eyes 😑🙄🚶🏾♀️
We get it, it’s painful. The earth rotates to form a full day, you need oxygen to survive. Thank for adding unproductive information to my aura. Please can people encourage as opposed to discourage the birthing process. There’s a reason why many mothers have more than one child and why we are currently over 7 billion on this earth.

Uhm.... it's actually not that bad. I say this because I've done it unmedicated, twice. You forget about the pain as soon as that baby is out. Sure... the contractions suck balls... the circle of fire is real, but it's not nearly as bad as some play it out to be...
Mama Efe·
@nschlegel, 💯 % agreed! I just really get annoyed when someone makes it seem as though you have to be Marian jones to get through labor, like our bodies don’t prep for this event over 9 months. I especially dislike it when people build fear into people’s minds. Constructive feedback like yours and the ladies prior to you is what people need.

I don’t think it’s that bad honestly. Like yup, it’s painful. Common sense tells you that lol but women do it on the regular, you’ll get through it lol

@efesmama I would get so mad at people for this. I was planning a natural water birth using hypnosis for relaxation but I had to suddenly be induced at 38+6. News of this and all my cousins start messaging me to "take the drugs!" "Get the epidural!" 😡...like I wouldn't be okay doing my own thing.
I did end up taking the drugs and epidural bc of how long my labor went but it wore off during pushing. It felt like the worst pain ever but it was do-able and then that head was out and it was all over! No biggie! This was just 10 days ago and I'd still do it all over again. Shame on the fear-mongerers!!
Mama Efe·
@braindeadmama, 100%!!! And that’s the bottom line
Mama Efe·
@kjcross, this is my point! The experience we already will be challenging. As are most things that are worthwhile in life!!! Congratulations mama, even after your on challenges, you have a beautiful healthy and bouncy baby to show!! And you THRIVE to tell the tale!!

Recovery was way worse for me. 😫
Mama Efe·
@aengs2, really? That’s awful! May I ask why that may have been so?

@efesmama, Just the process of healing down there after a vaginal birth was so much worse than I expected. No one really warned me about it. I didn't even tear bad or anything. Trying to heal while taking care of a newborn can be extremely painful and difficult. I don't mind labor and delivery but I'm so scared to go through the process of recovery and healing again.
Mama Efe·
@aengs2, that’s something I actually haven’t even thought of, I’ve been focused on the delivery lol🤦🏾♀️. But again, you live to tell the tale so much so that you have a beautiful baby number 2 on the way!!! So it couldn’t have been that awful. And we are almost there 😁😎💪🏾
