Ladies, is it just me and my kid? Let me give you guys an example.

For Example:

When I was 10 years old, my mom and i would haul ALL of our families BIG AZZ 5+ bags of laundry/baskets "TO" the Laundromat. Being a minority my mom struggled with the English language, so once we were in the Laundromat she would just hand me a $20 bill and I BETTER know what to do with it or else.... Anyways, and ya'll know whay?!?! I did know what to do with it WITH minimal to NO instructions and/or help!

-VERSUS-

Now, I have a 10 years old daughter whom i TRY to teach very well, BUT JUST DONT SEEM TO CARE TO UNDERSTAND ANYTHING!!! Ya'll my daughter obviously thinks I will forever stay young, and i'm sure she believes that mommy is immortal BECAUSE IN HER MIND MOMMY IS GOING TO HOLD HER HAND THROUGH LIFE AND DO EVERYTHING FOR HER!!! Why am i saying this? Because ladies hear me out....

1. We have a whole set of brand new washer and dryer RIGHT IN OUR HOUSE where she wouldn't have to haul anything with me to the Laundromat and feel embarass!!!

2. Because we have laundry machines at home she dont even have to worry about approaching these typical GRUMPY Laundromat owners and asking them for change..... wait for it... SHE DONT EVEN HAVE TO PAY THE UTILITY BILLS!!! I DO!!!

3. All she has to do is load the washer with only HER dirty clothes, and press ONE button for it to start!!! AND SHE COMPLAINS THAT IT'S TOO MUCH WORK! Ya'll i had to load multiple machines up WITH THE ENTIRE FAMILIES CLOTHES (NOT JUST MINES), and then insert ALL the coins, make sure the settings were right AND STRUGGLED HALF TO DEATH just trying to reach the top of the machine where the detergent was supposed to go!

4. And ya'll... drying her clothes WHERE THE DRYER IS LITERALLY RIGHT NEXT TO THE WASHER, takes her FOREVER just to transfer her clothes between the two. If any of you know the Laundromat life 10, 15, 20 years ago ya'll already know that during busy hours, trying to fight for a dryer AIN'T NO JOKE! You better be quick or your azz ain't ever drying your clothes anytime soon.

Anyways.... this rant is dragging on too long. All i'm saying is that Mama loves this little princess to death but sorry, Mama ain't going to be here forever dear.

Ladies, i'm sorry to say but no matter how great our parenting skills are... these kids nowadays have a mind of their own. For once i can confidently say that I CAN PREDICT THE FUTURE!
