He’s way behind in development, but we’re finally getting the help he needs... 💪🏼 His newest thing, standing along the tub while we get his bath ready and standing along the couch .. please no harsh comments. He’s behind because of spinal bifeda, and we’re getting him properly caught up. He’s improving and doing good ❤️

That is just fantastic. My 15yr old nephew has spina bifida. He didn't crawl til 11mnths maybe. He didn't walk til age 2. Such an awesome thing to see them grow and keep working at things.

@yvelid the mom usually finds out the baby has spina bifida around 3 months pregnant

90% of the time it's diagnosed at 16 weeks. Occasionally after birth but it's rare.

@kambam, he is! We started him in a program called early on. Dealing with both physical and speech therapy. I’m hoping they can do one thing differently than I do to get him up and going. 😊

@for_the_love_of_boys my nephew has always been in Speech and physical therapy too.
He is so strong and such a fighter.
