Any moms here who had a scheduled c section? My son was an emergency c section but I’m just trying to mentally prepare for the recovery again. How was your experience for the second time? I’ve heard it’s easier but oh my goodness idk😭
Also,any vbac experiences? I’m scared no lie to even attempt but I really want to experience a natural birth.
I’m honestly just all over the place with my thoughts 😩

I had a scheduled one. It was wonderful but I didn't mind going into labor naturally and having my first csection either

@ysalais no I had two csections. Both were scheduled. I went into labor naturally the first time, two days before csection date. 12 hours of active labor before we went in for surgery, I didn't feel a single contraction and was 5.5cm dilated. It was an incredible experience. Second time I had it scheduled but I had my last ob appt and i had preeclampsia so they moved the date a week early. I went home, packed, slept and the next morning went in for my csection. Both ways were wonderful, second time was just more on track vs a surprise like my first time

@vvrobinson, oh I see,that’s crazy! I honestly want to try naturally but my doctor sees it at a high risk. He says I could for someone else who would let me but I’m just all over the place with my decisions.

@ysalais I had a 70% success rate for vbac and that wasnt high enough for me. I chose to do my csection because I absolutely loved them. I suggest following your heart

@ysalais you have plenty of time. This should hardly be a concern right now. Right now you need to rest, drink plenty of water and relax. You're very early in the pregnancy, stress right now is not good for you.

@alisunmay1, That’s insane! The only reason I had c section with my son was because his foot got stuck on the umbilical cord.My heart says for me to go Vbac but then again I don’t want to risk the baby or even me because I know I’m a weak sauce 😩

@alisunmay1, thank you so much! I think here we have one hospital that has 90% success rate so my husband and I plan to go on his next day off to get a tour and see what doctors they offer(:
