So when should I worry about swelling? Past week I’ve noticed my hands and feet larger than usual, not too bad though. My fingers also hurt, like the joints.. my face is a little puffy today too. Should I just wait to ask my DR about all this at my next appt the 29th? I’ve also had a smell down there for about a week.. not a gross smell but I can smell it.. it’s hard to explain and TMI but I’ve never had an odor before. More discharge too. I’m afraid I’m slowly loosing my mucus plug but it’s not like the pictures you google lol it’s more just slimey... I feel like I sound so gross saying all this lol joys of pregnancy. Just looking to hear any similar experiences.

I would mention it to your doctor, you can always call in and ask. A little swelling is normal but if any of it is accompanied by headache, dizziness etc. you should definitely get in before your appointment.

Losing your mucus plug this early isn’t a huge concern as they can reform at this stage of gestation. Swelling is not an issue till it’s accompanied by other symptoms as listed above. If your experiencing a smell you’d be best to speak to your doctor as they will want to rule out BV.

@itty_bitty, @beakymcspence, @mrssanderson, thank y’all! I’ll still mention everything to doc. As for the discharge it’s clear but slimey. I’ve never had much discharge before so it’s all new to me. Even before I was pregnant.
