Has anyone heard of a special cleaner you're supposed to use the night before and the morning of your c-section? Everyone I've talked to, never mentioned this to me.
@bethann87 I think that's what I'm going to save it for, honestly. It's literally in a urine cup, half full. I don't even think it would last for 2 washes lol
@nschlegel yeah my Dr mentioned it last second. I liked having it cause after the surgery home washing myself i could use it over the incision spot lightly and felt extra not infected lol
@bethann87 the doc gave it to me... I was just trying to hear how common it was. I've know of 4 people with c-sections & not one of them mentioned. That's what got me curious.
It's called hibiclens we use it in the hospital I work at to clean all surgical patients before surgery
@mandyy the doctor gave me some. That's the only reason why I know what it looks like.
Before my c section they gave me some to shower with. The hospital may offer it for you.
@crazylifex2 yep! I'm unsure of the spelling as well. Doc said it wasn't super important, but it wouldn't change the outcome of anything. @sadie.w It's a special sanitizer (red in color, but watery) that helps gets the bacteria off the body.
I don’t know if it’s different that have a myomectomy but I know before they gave me some wipes to wipe my body before surgery but it might be different when having a baby not sure
@nschlegel gotcha, yah they shave and scrub you before surgery anyway
