I slowly weaned at 11 months

I know most of my friends started at about 11 months and had their kids fully switched by a year. For me my son refused formula at 8 months so we switched him then, but he has a dairy allergy so we switched to almond milk

About a week before his birthday I started doing a mix of formula and milk, 3:1, and slowly increased the milk over the next two weeks until it was all milk.

yea I waited until my daughter was 1 and took her bottle from her and put milk in her cup

About a week before bday we did 3:1 for a week then 2:1 for a week then full milk.

I started at 11 months with half organic cows milk/ half formula for every bottle then slowly weened off the formula

@letmegetagrip, like you gave them a a full 6 oz of there regular drank during the day? Or to sleep ? Just a bottle a day or how ?

@_mommyoftres like 2oz of milk the 4oz of formula every day for the first week then the 2nd week 4oz of milk and 2oz of formula for 2 weeks then the last week was straight milk.

With my first it was a year she transitioned easy I tried to ween my second daughter off earlier then a year but it upset her stomach and would constipate her really bad so I couldn’t and this happened with any milk for some reason but as soon as she hit around 13 months I tried again and never had any problems again

My daughter was on Alimentum. We waited until she was 1. I asked her pediatrician if we slowly introduce it to her, and she told us to just cut off the Alimentum and switch to whole milk.
