I have complained to my doctor at EVERY appointment about how TERRIBLY BAD my acid reflux is, to the point that I puke and can't sleep... and she knows I take zantac twice a day, pepcid AC, tums, drank apple cider vinegar daily, milk, etc. SO TELL ME WHY one week before I have my baby, she finally prescribes me something. I look it up and it's class B, totally harmless to baby throughout entire pregnancy and breast feeding. WHY. A week before when I have been in tears telling her how horrible this fire from hell coming up 24/7 is.....
Taken it for four days. Acid reflux reduced by a good like 50% I would say. Still bad but in comparison, I'm totally okay with it. WHY DR WHY

I take Zantac twice a day because I always chock on air from my acid reflex.

@mommytosophiaamethyst-rose23 yeah mine got increasing worse and worse and still I would do ALL that in one day and it was still SUPER BAD. Why the hell would my doctor wait a week until I have my baby to help me out. I mentioned it every single time. And I only THOUGHT it was bad with my first son. Hell nah this is worse

@jasminewili I literally have tried everything and nothing makes it better/worse. Except this medication she finally gave me. I am having my baby in three days though so I'll live now lol

@jasminewili I do hope after I have my baby the acid reflux stops... I mean it is really bad. I would love to not take medicine but it is BAAAD. Everything I was doing wasn't even helping.

What were you prescribed? With my daughter my doc gave me protonix and it worked like a charm. I get really terrible reflux when I’m pregnant, it goes away instantly once I have the baby!
