My little boy is 2 weeks old and be is starting to get gooky stuff in his right eye like eye boogers butbits matting his eye together idk what to do besides keep cleaning it they said if there isn't any sign of infection he should be ok I go back in on Monday... I've heard breast milk helps but Idk what to do like just put it on his eye or what

My dr told me to use a cotton ball and warm water but breastmilk does work well. You just wipe from the corner out and it should get better soon.

@keeondracarroll01 i think it took like three days for his to finally clear up. Just keep at it and it should go away.

@mpmcgavock yeah that's what I been doing for right now he gets so mad at me and ok I'll try that I didn't know if I just let it dripbin his eye or what

You can wash your hands and hand express some milk either on to your finger or directly in his eye. It's easier to put it on your finger tip and let it drop into the corner of his eye.

My son had this as well, the breast milk works. That and get a warm soft cloth and gently wipe the eye(s).
