Ugh I went through this with JJ his motility issues around Maddox’s age were bad till they changed it to a more effective medication then the Restoralax. Have you discussed with his doctor trying a new approach?

@beakymcspence, I haven’t. Up until this point it’s been working perfectly. I think because we stayed introducing more solids he’s having an issue.

If the suppositories don’t work by the morning I’m going to call the doctor and see if theirs something stronger to help him.

Does he use the Restoralax because he doesn’t poop or is there a reason behind it. I know for JJ he has low motility due to muscle tone issues.

@beakymcspence, he’s just always had issues pooping since day 1. We went through many bouts of constipation where he would tear himself while trying to go. My doctor said it’s safe for him to have the restoralax everyday so that’s what we’ve been doing and it’s worked. But if we miss a day of it he’s right back to being constipated

@maddoxsmama, Maybe give fruit lax a try. If we had issues with JJ and his Restoralax we’d used the fruit lax
