Yeah. You have your baby then when your both well to go home they send you on your way make sure you take a car seat with you to hospital otherwise you won’t be aloud to take baby home. You recover at home I’ve never heard of a resume centre to be honest. Most women take care of themselves and baby and if they have family or partner they help if your lucky lol. Don’t know where you’ve got 42 days from? You have a six week check up after baby is born at the doctors and also a health visitor comes round to check up on you both at home weigh baby and also midwives come to do a heel prick test , you do see a midwife don’t you?

@naughtybaby, no you go to the doctors for a appointment to check you and baby are doing well and how you are healing

@naughtybaby, just eat well stay hydrated and rest when we can, if in pain we can use paracetamol x

Of us not British citizens then think you should go home and have ya baby

@tashacoombes89, not sure that’s helpful? I’m not going to be at ‘home’ and having my baby- my hospital is hours away due to childcare etc.
