yes it happens to newborns its not a lot of blood so shes fine

dont be alarmed if it happens for like 2 or 3 days of course it shouldnt be a lot but it does happen the first week their born

It’s probably just uric acid crystals. Basically just really concentrated urine. My son had this for the first week or so of his life. I’d never heard of it and it freaked me out. But ask about it tomorrow for sure.

Yes it is completely normal for newborn girls to bleed or kind of have a "period".

It has something to do with left over hormones from the mother.

It's normal for them to have a little period. 😊

@mommyofthree2711 completely normal no worries..I also freaked out the first time my first girl did this as well I rushed her to the E r lol...its a mini period from the hormones

Ok thank you ladies :) they did tell me about some discharge she will have I also saw that. It’s so weird.. how their so little and already having discharge 😆 I’ve also never changed a baby girl so I’m super careful lol boys are much much easier 😬😬😆
