Mamas with babies who get sunburns what do you do during school? I’ve been apply sunscreen before school and she came home with a burn the first day so I sent her with sunscreen and told her teacher whose been having her put it on before recess but she’s burnt again and I’m not sure what to do, I feel terrible😔

Is there anyway she can play in the shade ?

@alishap1212, there’s no trees or cover or anything where the playground is unfortunately and we are in Southwest Texas where the uv index is super high.

Might be expensive @montymama, but can you get her some UV protective tops etc for school? Is she applying the sunscreen or her teacher? Maybe ask her teacher to help her put it on.

@mariapb, she said she’s been doing it so I’m getting a spray one that’ll be easier for her to do and her teacher to help, that’s probably a good idea the t shirts

@montymama, I googled, obviously 😂 You seem to be able to get them from outdoorsy kinda places here for a decent price so probably the same over there.
