When you're on the phone with your aunt and somehow mention the fact your daughter sleeps in bed with you and she says "You have to break that bad habit."
Took everything in me to not respond, aside from saying why she does. Also, good thing she couldn't see my eye roll from the other end of the line.
Why do people with no kids offer parenting advice? 🤔 Lol.

I 100% am for the parenting style of?!?!?!
You do you.
I personally only co slept with my child when he was a newborn because he had bad reflux. Other then that i probably wouldnt have.
But do I tell moms who cosleep to stop the bad habit? NOPE cause it aint my problem.
I swear family is the worst to! My uncle the other day gave us shit for letting Clark chew on a stroller strap. He had been whinning for an hour and finally was quiet and not chewing his hand. Wanted to tell him to stfu so bad. Mind your own.

@sherrynygirl When I had my first her and I got into a huge heated fight because they were up visiting for my sisters graduation. Her and her friend offered to watch my daughter who was three months at the time, for my husband and I to just go back to the hotel pool for a little. I told her hey I just fed her, so she's fine, no need to give her another bottle. Well I guess while we were gone she was crying, so of course they gave her another bottle. I was livid when I came back and my my told me. Maybe I overreacted but for them to do something when I said she just ate. Like, come get me if she's crying. Don't just feed her to keep her quiet when that's not why she's obviously crying. 🤷♀️

@lii94 We only co slept with our first for the first few months because like you said with your son, she had bad reflux. But after three months we moved her.
With our youngest, she breastfeeds and has a hard time staying asleep so I am always reoffering her the boob. I'm not getting up several times a night to get her out of her crib, when she cries, when we already have a routine in place and it works for us.
To me co sleeping isn't even a bad habit, humans by nature like to be with other people, so why wouldn't my baby girl want to be near me? I mean if she's 3, 4, 5, 10 still sleeping with me then I may need to re evaluate. 😂

@bhtslove my middle sister allowed my oldest to jump off the couch..well he landed on a hallway table and needed stiches the only time in his life he ever needed to go to ER and get stiches..like I say not every woman is meant to be a mom he was just 2 yrs old. Blood was gushing out of his head like a fountain...such a small deep cut needing just 2 stiches..I was helping my mom in her bedroom ...and told my sister watch him for a minute

@bhtslove like i said mama, no judgement! I have friends that coslept with their kids till 2, some that refused, and some like me who did it for medical reasons and other that did it for breastfeeding. 🤷🏻 its all up to the parent and their parenting styles

We sort of cosleep with our little, but he's not directly on the bed with us, he has a snuggle nest bassinet thing that goes ontop of the bed next to us, well me anyway, so I won't roll over onto him or cover him with the blanket by accident. We'll eventually move him to his actual bassinet but right now I feel he's still to small and rolls to his side so I worry he'll end up on his belly
