Hi ladies, im new to this pregnancy life. I am only 6 weeks and I have yet to have a prenatal visit. Last week I thought I was getting my period because I was spotting some light pink discharge which later turned brownish pink. After two days and no period I realized I was 9 days late and did a pregnancy test. Of course I had a faint positive so I went into the local health department and had another test done that most definitely confirmed it. So here I am today I’ve been moody, hungry, thirsty, and now I’m seeing this same light pink discharge. Is this normal, am I over doing something? Mainly is my baby okay or should I head to the doctor ?

@sashagraham98 I thought the conception date I was given was strange too because I don't think I had sex around then either. Maybe I did lol but My OB told me I had to be further than I thought because you wouldn't hear Baby's Heartbeat so clearly at 8 weeks. But Yes I'm pretty sure you mistaked Implantation bleeding for your period. My sister had periods when she was pregnant with her son. Also doc also confirmed that you definitely can still have periods and be pregnant which is a bit odd!! But we are both having a bundle of joy!! I'm Excited for mine!!🤗🤗🍼🍼
I thought it was July 11-15 but after I learned I was pregnant Im questioning it now
@al_lopezzzz2718, congratulations! And thanks for the advice this makes me question if I was pregnant what I thought was my last period. It was shorter I couldn’t eat for days the pains weren’t as bad as they normally were and it wasn’t as heavy as it usually is. So I guess I will know for sure when I got to my first appointment. The strange thing is the conception date they gave me, I know for a fact I hadn’t had sex bc I have like 6 apps to track everything 😂 so I’m anxious for my first appointment
Congratulations Mama!!🎆🎆🍼🍼You're just fine Sweets!! It's Implantation bleeding!! What you don't want to see is bright red blood although some Mommies do have their periods while being pregnant!! I just found out about a 3 weeks ago I'm expecting due to no period for about a week and I started having pregnancy symptoms so I tested and had 2 clear pink lines instantly but to make sure I tested 2 more times..same thing so yesterday I had my doc appointment found out I have been Pregnant since June 19th which makes me 10 weeks and heard Baby's Heartbeat. My Husband and I were both shocked because I had what I thought was my period June 22nd which only lasted 4 days so I mistaked my period for Implantation bleeding apparently lol
@sashagraham98 congratulations🎊🎉🎈🎀🎁 love your fine spotting in the first trimester is very normal due to you being so early I spotted in my first trimester as well I'm currently 23weeks today with baby #4 my 6th pregnancy I had 2 miscarriages before this pregnancy the only time you should be worried if the spotting is bright Red like a period color other then that try to relax pregnancy is a very scary thing cause we have no control over what's happening on the inside I went to my first obgyn appointment when I was exactly 7weeks got an ultrasound and I got to hear my son's hear beat it was the best feeling in the world this is my 3rd boy I have a daughter she's the youngest till my son comes so I'm very excited I hope you have a great pregnancy and a healthy baby congrats again such a blessing 😍😄

@al_lopezzzz2718, I’m supposed to be 6.3 today and I go to the doctor on the 6 which is supposedly in my 8th week so I guess we will know at that time how far I really am. I’m excited and nervous at the same time.
