If I was in your situation I most definitely would I have 13 more weeks to go

Unless you have a high risk pregnancy I would say no, there is no need. I am almost 38 weeks and haven't been checked. You want to keep baby in as long as you can. Just pay attention to fluid leaking, bloody show, and contractions...if you have those issues then you want to go in and get checked more...but without those symptoms you don't need a cervical check honestly.

I chose not to get checks done. My doctor agreed with me that the routine* checks are unnecessary.

I started at 33 weeks with my past pregnancies. Even though dilation is no indication as to when labor will start, ive always enjoyed knowing if/ how far dilated i am, it was exciting for me. Its your decision 😊
