Do any of you ladies have the contraceptive injection, if so could we have a wee chat please ? 😊

@snowfieuk I was given it today as it was the option of contraceptive that I was considering but I don't know how long it works for or when it starts to work?

I'm now considering the implant as the injection just feels a bit easy to me xx

It can take 3+ months to get out of your system....like most contraception use condoms too for a week or so to maximise protection. At your next appointment discuss the implant and they normally do it there and then xx

We have been doing so anyway as I am now petrified that we'll end up with another wee surprise :')

Yeah she said that if I wanted I could continue on with the injection or get the implant but I am now considering the implant xx

See I liked the injection...I hate periods lol. I didn't gain weight or have any side effects to it. The only thing is how long it took to get caught (pregnant) and I also found out I shouldn't of been allowed it due to osteoporosis in my family.

I've heard good things about the implant I would look into it if I was you. Xx

@snowfieuk I prefer to have periods as I get anxious/worried not having them 😂

I have troubles trying to gain weight so maybe this will help me then 🤞

What do you mean by how long it took to get caught?

Going to see how I get on with the injection first and if I'm still not keen then the implant is definitely an option xx

Yeah here's hoping as having a baby hasnt even given me any weigt 😳😂 haha.

Looked into them both as soon as I got home from the doctors and I'm torn between the two so I'm just going to stick with the injection to begin with and see how things go 😊 xx

I know I lost weight during pregnancy...I didn't even look pregnant from the back and my bump was so compact lol.

I still haven't managed to put weight on and my 2 are 6 and 4 lol xx

@snowfieuk I've just stayed the same weight throughout, all I did was gain a bump that went away after he was born :')
