Yes they can 🙁 even though they are still so new, they can get nightmares. From what I'm guessing it could be from the birth process. It's so traumatic for both mom and baby. But imagine, living in the only world you knew, then suddenly being pushed, and sucked out. Your head is being smooshed. Then all this brightness. Newness.

@geminiheartbreaker you can wake the baby up if you want to. I just snuggle them up and tell them it will be ok. Usually they do wake up anyways and just look scared. You're the mama, they look to you for love and comfort. That's all they need. It doesn't happen much anymore for my older two

Gas! Babies that young sometimes get rumbles in their tummies and intestines that really hurt. I would pump my baby’s legs and give gas drops whenever that happened, he always passed gas and went back to sleep. Make sure to burp well and allow for lots of tummy time so she can work it out!
