Do you ladies do anything to protect your bed from your water possibly breaking while you sleep? I’ve been debating on buying depends to wear to bed cause I don’t want to ruin the foam topper that we have.

@choffman499, it won’t. I have one. The reason I purchased one is because my husband sweats like crazy when he sleeps. So I invested in cooling sheets and waterproof covers which was also supposed to be cooling too. You can find the waterproof mattress covers on amazon.
@mommakuala, yup that’s exactly what happened with us. He went out and bought like 5 new pairs so that I could steal them.
@choffman499, same here, my hubby is all talk when it comes to him in yogas!! Haha but he kept offering to buy my own shorts and I kept saying “no, I like yours better, they are just more comfy” 😂😂 told him instead of buying me some, to get more for himself so I could wear them 😂😂
@buneeh, I will have to look into that. I’m just afraid of it making noise and keeping my husband and I awake at night.
@mommakuala, right!! All my pajama pants or shorts are men’s so my husband and I trade all the time. I’ve tried to get my husband into yoga pants just to try them on but hasn’t worked yet 😂
There are waterproof mattress covers you can buy. It covers the mattress and you put your sheets over the top. I guess that may not protect the foam topper...but you may be able to put the water proof cover over the foam topper too.
@choffman499, that’s how I was with my first pregnancy!! My hubby hated sharing his shorts and shirts with me!! I didn’t care, I was comfy haha he kept telling me “how would you like it if I wore your yogas” I’d just respond with “I’d love to see that” 😂😂🤷🏻♀️

@mommakuala, yea I’m trying to be kinda prepared for this. With my luck my water will break while in my new car. I told my husband I’m going to start sitting on towels when I drive just in case.
@choffman499, luckily I was sleeping on top of blankets that night, nothing reached our topper/mattress but it’s good you’re planning ahead!! Haha

For me, I didn’t even think of any of that. My water broke at 1am while I was sleeping. I had felt something wet, opened my eyes and inhaled, felt more water come out. Woke up my hubby and I stood up, literally felt like I was peeing none stop on the carpet. Hubby gave me 3 towels while he grabbed everything cause I didn’t want to move unless I had to, I soaked through all 3 towels plus I stuck another one in my pants for the car ride. Don’t underestimate the amount of fluids you have in you!!
They sell big pads kinda like puppy trainers for the bed or couch. Car. Wherever . Forgot what they're called tho
