My husband and I was talking about the baby shower than got on the topic of how we never will have a traditional wedding. We got married at City Hall. Talking about it hurt both of our feelings. Than I mention we will be able to give our daughter the wedding she always dream of and help both our sons on theirs. Made us both smile. #patiently waiting on our kids to get married and have our grandbabies.

My husband and I didn’t have a “traditional wedding”. However, a couple years after being married we planned a cruise to Bahamas and renewed our vows. I bought a gown and my husband got a suit ... we renewed our vows on the boat and got plenty of pictures . It was just the two of us . 😀😅@deedeebrown0604,

@deedeebrown0604, cool . We went through Carnival Cruise lines and it wasn’t that expensive . You can contact them about the vow renewal on the cruise too if that’s what you want to do . We did is so we could have some “wedding photos” 🤗

I eloped and didn’t have a traditional wedding. I don’t regret it one bit. My siblings spent upwards of 20k on their weddings and they both hated the ordeal. Better to take that money and put it on a down payment for a house or invest in your future. Weddings are nice but IMO highly overrated.
