What part is too much? The outfit? A lot of people do newborn pics with the baby completely naked in a tasteful way. I’m not personally a huge fan of newborn photo shoots, but I think they’re cute. I don’t see a problem with this.

Maybe I am over protective. I think it's a beautiful picture. But I wouldn't post it for the world to see. I also wouldn't post a picture of my child undressed or exposed.

@cams your kid, your choice. I'm not uncomfortable with a naked child. I'm uncomfortable with it being posted for anyone and everyone to see. I have pictures of my daughter naked. She's beautiful and I love to admire every inch of her little body. But that is something I would never expose to the internet.

@charlieb_, you didn’t make that clear. Your issue wasn’t the actual photo but the fact that it was posted. I mean, nothing is exposed so I wouldn’t have an issue with it but I can understand why you would be apprehensive about it.

I think it’s delicate and adorable. Nothing cuter than a naked newborn, and this one isn’t even naked.

I don’t post naked/diaper pictures of dd online but naked newborn shoots seem to be fairly normal.

I don’t agree with posting children naked or even eluding to being naked. There are far too many perverts out there and photoshop is their friend. You’d be mortified if you knew what they did to the pics.

But I also disagree from a privacy perspective. How lucky we are to not have grown up in an age where EVERYTHING is put out there for the whole world. We are very selective about what we post of and about our kids out of respect for them. I ask my 17 year old for permission now. Can you imagine when their bosses do a google search and there is their toosh, or embarrassing photo?!?

Valid point from @jack.ass. One of the reasons I rarely post pictures of my kid. Out of respect for her. Some kids might grow up and NOT want their whole lives played out on the internet.

I think it’s innocent but can understand where ppl would have an issue with it.

Bottom line, people are going to have different levels of sensitivity to things like this but as far as a newborn goes—- I don’t think there is a total right or wrong unless it’s blatantly sexual

Maybe this is just me being overly cautious, but though I agree that the naked newborn pics are so adorable, have you ever thought that quite possibly the people taking the pics don't always have the best intentions. Like most of the time we get photographers because of how good they are but do people even stop to think if quite possibly that photographer is a pedophile or lives with someone whom is. Even the commercial photographers you see like at Wal-mart and stuff or in malls. I remember we had a family photoshoot and the photographer definitely gave me weird vibes but my mother in law was paying and wanted all the grandkids in the pictures. Maybe I'm just overthinking but evil people are literally everywhere.
